Wow…That was a weekend…
Excess!!!! Wowzers….

On Friday night I walked out to the end of the driveway for a street beer with Dan Auns…and it began…

We were then invited to meet at Indulge for a few drinks…that led to Broadway for a few more…

At last call we were out of there for home…I remember laying in bed haunted by what was to greet me Saturday morning…

6 degrees…Rain…and Golf…

Wet! Wet Wet.  and cold….

The Shuggie Invitational.  This is one tournament we should consider holding a bit earlier in the year.

Most groups made it 9 holes although a few managed the full 18…not yours truly though.

This night ended at an awards ceremony at the Oak…a hot mess…

Much fun was had, my beautiful wife dropped me off and picked me up…so it was a good night to let loose and have a bit of the old glug with friends…

Parker was present…there was lots of food and drink and I for one did spend some time at the trough.

Wake up Sunday morning with a stage 7 hangover…add that to the stage 3 hangover I started Saturday with and what do you have folks?

A stage 10…agony.

To fix this you must have McDonalds for breakfast and Tim Hortons for lunch…  2 donuts later I’m all set for my first go at being a Hockey Parent as we drove Charlotte over for her first go at the puck.  It was a lot of laughs and she survived…

For dinner I thought I’d attempt to clean up my act a bit….I crushed 2 cups of raw veg, a cup of cut fruit…and I may have had a few snacks…

Today I weigh in at 232 pounds…fair enough.

We may be fat…but life is good!

The Quote of the Day:

Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.
Octavia Butler

When Octavia mentions hurl above….that could be several different things.  To the best group of guys anyone could ever meet.  Cheers!

Cold…prepare your shovels…
